Profhilo is a Skin Booster and is designed to improve the quality of the skin by injecting hydrating and skin strengthening Hyaluronic Acid into the upper layers of the skin. It is a unique skin remodelling treatment that works by stimulating the production of collagen and elastin in the skin through the slow release of Hyaluronic Acid. It improves skin quality, elasticity, gives appearance of plumper skin. It gives an effect of soft face lift, reduces sagging skin in the lower part of the face, very gently firms and plumps up the cheeks giving your face younger appearance.

In comparison to some types of injectables Profhilo doesn’t cause change to face’s appearance. Instead, the Hyaluronic Acid spreads through the skin to increase hydration levels. Results are quick, you will see them next day after the treatment but it takes between four to six weeks to see the full impact of your first Profhilo treatments. Profhilo is administered in two sessions, 4-6 weeks apart. After this to maintain the results, you will need follow up sessions roughly every 6 months. It can also be injected in conjunction with other injectable treatments to enhance the effect and give you the best results possible. Usually we will inject the Profhilo in 10 points on your face, 5 on each side:

  • At the chin
  • The outside of the nose
  • The outer corner of the eye
  • The outer cheek
  • The mid-jawline

Over recent years, interest in skin boosters treatments has increased significantly due to very effective results, no recovery period and natural effects. Therefore there are many new types of skin booters on the market. In our clinic we choose only the best quality brands. We will adjust appropriate skin booster to your skin needs and your expectations.

Polynucleotides, on the other hand, “work in a different way” by triggering natural fibroblasts to produce more collagen and elastin. When polynucleotides are introduced to the skin, they support cells in the skin to repair. The skin cells are encouraged to stimulate the development of essential skin proteins which provide the skin with shape, smoothness, and volume. Polynucleotide chains can also improve the extracellular matrix of the skin cells to boost hydration. Polynucleotides have an anti-free radical action property, meaning they can counteract damage caused from factors such as the sun, stress, and pollution.
