Permanent eyeliner, also called semi-permanent makeup, is a cosmetic tattooing procedure. Permanent eyeliner frames your eyes and can make eyelashes appear darker, fuller and thicker. It can enhance the shape of a person’s eyes, creates the illusion of larger eyes. Eyeliner can enhance or intensify eye color and make eyes appear more alluring. Thanks to this treatment, everyday makeup will be much shorter and easier.
Types of permanent eye makeup:
- Eyelash enhancement – pigment is deposited between the lashes, directly in the eyelash line from one eye corner to another. It optically thickens the eyelashes, gives a delicate and subtle effect.
- Classic eyeliner effect – perfect everyday solution that adds expression to your look. You can add a small tail to the outer corner in order to optically enlarge the eye. Adjusted to the client’s expectations.
- Shaded line (shadow/ombre) – dark and intense at the eyelash line, blurred from the top.

Procedure step by step – permanent eyeliner (eyeliner tatoo):
- Consultation – an interview with a client to determine expectations and inform about pre and post procedure instructions and contraindications to the procedure.
- Preliminary drawing – only after client’s approval we continue.
- Pigmentation – lasts about 1-2 hours. Might be a bit painfull but we use very good and good quality pain relief.
- Follow up (touch up) – is performed 30 to 60 days after the procedure (if needed).
Instructions before the procedure of permanent eyeliner (eyeliner tatoo) :
- You should stop using eyelash growth serums 3 months before the procedure.
- You should remove artificial eyelash extensions 2 weeks before the procedure.
- On the day of the procedure, you should not drink coffee or energy drinks.
- You cannot drink alcohol 24 hours before the procedure.
- You cannot take steroids or antibiotics 2 weeks before the procedure.
Aftercare instructions, post procedure of permanent eyeliner (eyeliner tatoo):
- Gently blot micropigmented area with a wet, lukewarm cotton swab. The swab needs to be soaked in plain water. This to be done only on the day of procedure.
- Maintain proper hygiene to prevent infection.
- Do not touch or rub skin area where the procedure was done.
- Do not scratch off scabs or use peelings.
- Do not wash the pigmented area with soap, gel or other agents containing active substances.
- You should avoid exposing your face to the sun, using saunas, solariums and swimming pools, and avoid applying makeup to the pigmented area.
- Tattooed area is likely to be red and swollen. Keep it clean and moisturised to promote healing. Proper aftercare can help reduce the healing time and prevent scarring.
Contraindications to the procedure:

- Active herpes
- Autoimmune diseases
- Uncontrolled diabetes
- Pigment allergies
- Blood diseases and coagulation disorders
- Taking certain medications, e.g. steroids or blood thinners
