cosmetic tattooing, semi-permanent makup of the lips – lip tint
Lips without shape and color? – Permanent lip makeup is a great solution. It is an ideal treatment for those who want to save time on daily makeup application or have trouble keeping traditional makeup in perfect condition all day long. Permanent makeup will emphasize the natural color of the lips, improve their shape and retouch minor imperfections. Thanks to high-quality pigments and modern pigmentation techniques, the effect can be very natural and suited to the individual preferences of the client. Permanent makeup is primarily intended to emphasize the values of beauty, but in many cases it allows people to regain self-confidence who have shapeless or colorless lips or have scars from injuries or cleft lips.
You can choose from differnet effects of permanent lips makeup:
- Lip Liner – A natural lip pigment implanted in to the contour of the lip
- Ombre lips – Lip liner that is blended into the body of the lip
- Lipstick effect – defined lip contour with blended pigment through the full lip
- Lip blush – very gentle and sustainable form of permanent lips technique
Procedure step by step (permanent lip makeup):
- Consultation – carried out to determine the exact expectations. We inform about instructions and contraindications. The client will choose colour of the lips and effect he/she wants to achieve (lip liner/lip blush/full lip colour).
- Preliminary drawing (contour drawing) – done after selection of the appropriate lip color. Only after acceptance do we start pigmentation.
- Pigmentation – lasts about 2 hours. Might be a bit painfull but we use very good and good quality pain relief.
- Follow up (touch up) – we do it at the next appointment. 30 to 60 days after the first micropigmentation. It is included in total price.
How long does permanent makeup last on lips?
Lips tattooed with permanent makeup, often referred to as lip blush or lip tint, typically last between 1 to 3 years. The longevity can vary based on factors, including skin type. Oily skin may cause the pigment to fade faster. Adequate aftercare can help maintain the color longer.
Healing process
Intensive healing occurs in the first 3-7 days, this is the time when the lip color is darker. After a maximum of a week, the peeling skin will be removed and the color will become lighter. The final effect of micropigmentation will be visible after 30 days, by which time the color stabilizes. The full effect of the procedure usually requires two meetings. Final effect depends on your skin and the chosen technique. The additional procedure (touch up) should be performed 6-12 weeks after the procedure.
Pre Permanent Makeup Procedure Instructions (Lips):
- 3-4 days before the procedure, do a peeling and moisturize your lips – exfoliated and moisturized skin will absorb the colour better.
- 24 hours before the procedure, do not drink alcohol and do not take aspirin – to avoid blood thinning. Otherwise, it will make pigmentation more difficult and cause pigment to be less absorbed.
- On the day of the procedure, do not drink coffee, strong tea or products containing caffeine, e.g. coca-cola (they thin the blood, which causes pigment to be less absorbed and impedes pigmentation).
- In order to minimize the chance of a cold sore, you can take an antiviral medications e.g. Hascovir or Heviran, for about 3 days before the procedure.
- You should inform us about previous lip augmentations with hyaluronic acid and do not get them done before the planned lip pigmentation procedure.
